While charities offer free pickups on their own tight schedules, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? is a paid, full-service alternative.
We charge by volume, which is how much space your items take up in the truck. We have a minimum charge for very small loads; from there, prices go from 1/8th of a truck up to a full truckload. We also have special pricing if you only have one single item. We can give you an exact price once we see the items in person.

Is your furniture donation service free, or is there a charge?
Because we provide full-service junk removal, there is a fee for our service. This all-inclusive price covers our friendly team coming directly to you, doing all the heavy lifting from wherever the furniture is located, and handling the transportation to local donation centers or recycling facilities. We always provide a clear, upfront price before we start—no surprises, and no heavy lifting for you!
What condition must an item be in to be donated?
To be donated, an item should be in good, usable condition with minimal damage. While we accept items with light wear, charities generally look for furniture free of major structural issues. If your item is no longer fit for donation, we’ll still pick it up and ensure as many parts as possible are recycled.
Can you pick up my large and bulky items for donation?
We sure can! We take large items all the time. As long as it can be lifted and loaded into the truck by two people, we'll be happy to take it away for you!
If your items are still in good, usable condition, we do our best to donate them to local charities and community partners.
What happens to my items—are they actually donated or recycled?
We do our absolute best to keep your items out of the landfill. Our teams look for items that can be recycled or donated to local charities. While we can't guarantee acceptance by our partners, our goal is always to handle your belongings responsibly—giving you peace of mind and a fresh start.
Do you accept items that donation centers, like damaged furniture or mattresses, typically reject?
Yes, we do! Because we are a full-service junk removal company we can accept items that are worn, damaged, or otherwise rejected by local charities.
While we always try to donate or recycle your items first, we will still happily whisk away your damaged furniture or mattresses and handle the responsible sorting or disposal for you. All you have to do is point, and our friendly teams will take care of the rest.
How quickly can you schedule a donation pickup compared to other charities?
We can often be there the same day you book! Because we are a full-service junk removal company rather than a non-profit, we have the fleet and availability to show up exactly when you need us. You don’t have to wait around or live with clutter while trying to do a good deed. We make it easy to get a fresh start on your own timeline.

I decided I couldn’t deal with the two broken flat screen tvs (one in the garage and one in the upstairs hall) anymore. I looked up 1-800-GOT-JUNK and they were at my door 90 minutes later picking up my junk. Super friendly and very reasonably priced. Will absolutely use this service again.
I had a fantastic experience with 1-800-GOT-JUNK today. Rashad & Stu were extremely professional and respectful of my home. We all had to laugh while trying to figure out how I managed to put the couch in the room it was in and how they were going to get it out. My efforts took me 4 hours to get it in there by myself and they got it out in 20 minutes! Superior Service! When I decide to let go of more junk, I’ll be giving them a call!
