For 2 or more items, we price by volume, which is how much space your junk takes up in the truck. Rates start at our minimum charge for very small loads up to a full truckload. Kevin Wolters
I’m Kevin Wolters, owner of the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise in Cincinnati. I grew up on a small farm in Missouri where I learned the definition of hard work & long hours by watching my grandparents & parents. My first real job was with a small town Print Shop in Jefferson City (Jeff-City Printing) where I developed a love for small business. The owner made me feel at home by the way he cared for his employees and clients and I try to do the same in my own business.
I joined 1-800-GOT-JUNK? St Louis in 2004 as the Operations Manager and moved into a General Manager role as the company grew. I saw 1-800-GOT-JUNK? as my opportunity to get back into a small business and show that the effort I put into it would not be overlooked as it can in larger corporations, so when the opportunity to have a franchise of my own came along, I grabbed it! We chose to expand to Cincinnati because it gave us the same feeling as St Louis. The city, metro and people have the same midwestern values that I love.
I enjoy being able to build relationships with our employees and clients. I love teaching our employees the skills that I have learned over life and showing them how to use it in our business and their personal lives.
I have just moved to Cincinnati and have been busy with work, so I’m looking forward to exploring the city a little more. I joined a local Catholic parish where my son will attend and am looking forward to meeting more people and getting more involved in the community from there.
My family is everything to me. I am married to my beautiful wife Melissa who just recently left a 20 year career in the medical field to join me in the business. We have one son who is 5 and is the world to me. Whenever I get a chance which is not often, I love to get on my road bike and watch live music.
